Serving our members to support their growth and development is within the core of int@j’s mission and values; as an association we identify our success by the degree in which we create a positive impact on our members in specific and on the ICT & ICT Enabled Services sector in general.
The list of our services goes long; and we believe in servicing each member based on his specific needs & requirements; yet, our services could be summarized and categorized as follows:
Advocacy services are the core mandate of int@j, in which it positions the association as the ICT & ICT Enabled Services sector representative and advocate. Advocacy reveals the importance and value of int@j, as a powerful tool that influence the national ICTES directions, policies, and regulations, to help overcome a lot of the sector’s burdens and issues with the government that slow the sector’s progress and growth.
- int@j is working on re-structuring its core service and mandate as the sector’s advocate to be able to tackle main items and challenges faced by its members and the sector whether with the government or with other business partners or counterparts. This helps in giving a robust platform for int@j’s community and power.

With the number of our association members increasing and the ICT & ICT Enabled Services community is growing, it is important to take the time in order to network with each other to encourage collaboration and market awareness.
These networking efforts were a key reason behind creating and/or developing business relationships that were of benefit for the companies as well as the sector; these networking events also supported the competency development of the sector in order to tackle regional as well as international challenges and opportunities.
int@j organizes the ICT Connect, which is a monthly gathering for our members to set together and discuss a certain theme that is of great importance to them; moreover, it is usually attended by our main partners in the sector and mainly H.E. the Minister of Communication and Information Technology to help building bridges and encouraging partnerships among the private and public sectors and even the Academia in so many cases.
- ICT Connect Jan 09: themed at int@j Plans & Business Collaboration.
- ICT Connect Feb 25th, 2009: themed at HR Challenges in the ICT Sector , in which a number of HR initiatives were launched.

Human resources are the main competency for the Jordanian ICT & ICT Enabled Services sector; we believe it is of great importance to continuously build and support the Capacity Development in the sector whether as companies or as individuals. Capacity building is not only by providing competitive knowledge, but is also by interacting with our members, researching the market to understand related trends, and identifying how int@j can assist in elevating our companies’ readiness to meet and satisfy those trends.
The capacity building activities and the training that int@j provides is another way to support our members financially, since the rates and cost we provide are subsidized up to 75% in some cases.
int@j also provides its members with unique training services, in which the members list their training needs and requirements for int@j to assist them in designing and implementing a Customized Training package that suit their specific needs and organization dynamics.
- iHR: We launched an HR service to assist our members in developing and supporting their resources; we signed a deal with the British council to provide us with a very low cost, high quality English training. The training will be customized and tailored for your company needs and requirements.
In addition, MAHARAT program is working closely with int@j and gave the association members high priority to access the program graduates’ CVs to be employed by them. For interested members, please contact us at nancy.dababneh@intaj.net
Customized Training: Training is core to our members’ capacity development plans; moreover, each member is unique in terms of his strategy, goals, culture and directions. That’s why we, at int@j, believe that each investment in training should return the right value; we support our members to provide the right training and education that is tailored to the exact company needs and requirements; for example a sales training for an internet service provider should differ from the same training for a software company since they sell different products/services, and to different audience. This customized approach will assist the resources in realizing the true value of training, which will reflect positively on the overall development of the ICT sector resources & corporate.
For interested members, you may request your training from nancy.dababneh@intaj.net
