Mr. Khaled H. Hudhud is Director of Governmental and Regulatory Affairs at Umniah Mobile Company the third Mobile telephone operator in Jordan and deputy General Manger at Batelco Jordan a wholly owned subsidiary of Umniah.Khaled has a BSc. in Engineering from Northeastern University in Boston.

Khaled has been an active proponent for the liberalization of the Jordanian Telecom sector since 1995.  As early as 1995, while working for an international IT advisory firm, Khaled got his curiosity ignited by early experimentation in carrying voice communication over IP networks.  In 1997 he started lobbying the government extensively to allow licensing of Prepaid Calling Card companies while the fixed line monopoly had not expired.  Khaled joined MobileCom in early 2000  as Intelligent Network Products Manager and later became Products and Services Department Manager overseeing the development of MobileCom's Postpaid and Prepaid Voice services, Data and Value Added services, Roaming services, as well as SIM cards and Handsets products.

Khaled has general interests in the positive impact of economic liberalization and how competition is the best tool for directing resource utilization in a modern economy.
