The Information Technology Association of Jordan - Int@j, held a reception in recognition of the former Minister of ICT H.E. Eng. Basem Rousan For his achievements and dedicated services, and to welcome the new Minister of ICT H.E. Mr. Marwan Juma. The event took place on Monday January 25, 2010 at the Four Seasons Hotel-Amman and was sponsored by Umniah.
The event was attended by H.E. Eng. Basem Rousan, H.E. Mr. Marwan Juma and a majority of int@j members and partners. Mr. Ayman Mazahreh, chairman of int@j welcomed all attendees and highlighted H.E. Eng. Basem Rousan achievements as former Minister of ICT in improving and further developing the ICT sector.
Mr. Mazahreh also welcomed H.E. Mr. Marwan Juma to his new post, and stressed on the importance of solving key issues in the sector and further advancing the industry.
H.E. Basem Rousan noted ”It’s been an honor to work with the ICT sector members in companies, partners and int@j, and I’m sure this will continue to be a promising sector for Jordan”
H.E. Marwan Juma added “We build on H.E. Rousan great achievement and we will focus on resolving all outstanding obstacles and further growing the ICT sector”.
The Information Technology Association of Jordan is an Information and Communications Technology (ICT) industry-support association founded in 2000 with the aim of improving the dynamics of Jordan's ICT market and developing the Kingdom's ICT related activities.
