The Information and Communications Technology Association –Jordan (int@j) is committed to supporting members increase sales and profits in local and international markets, through professional training of management and staff aimed at helping them develop the capacity to expand to new markets and raising their competitiveness. 
int@j is offering an export planning training program to help you develop the necessary competitive advantage to develop successful export markets. The workshop will be held on Tuesday & Wednesday, September 20 -21 (9:00 am-5:00pm) and will take place at the Sheraton- Amman hotel.  To compete in international markets, you need solid understanding of export marketing and export planning knowledge as well as skills in international market research and analysis and the capability to identify market opportunities for your products and services. This workshop contains essential information to help export-oriented companies succeed in export markets. 
During this program you will:

Workshop Contents
Module 2: Market Research and Analysis as Part of Successful Export Planning The module provides a foundation for export planning and a roadmap for successful international market research and analysis. It walks participants through the importance of export planning and provides a structured approach to market research, the process of scanning and selecting markets, understanding market development and identifying opportunities and challenges, as well as using web-based resources to identify market trends, market access requirements,  competitors and their activities. 
Module 2: Export Market Entry Strategies The module provides a foundation for developing market entry strategies in export markets.  It describes the principles of market segmentation, targeting and positioning, and discusses each element of the export marketing mix and the formulation of market entry strategies based on core competencies.  The module promotes the importance of developing a successful marketing mix based on appropriate situation analysis, and the practice of successful export marketing and management in an international context.

ExpertsThe workshop will be delivered by a team of experts in the marketing and export fields from Competence Management Consulting:
Adnan Ziadat – expert in strategic management, strategic marketing, and export capacity building. He has over 20 years of experience in consulting, training and coaching companies across various sectors and subsectors to implement growth plans, including export marketing plans. He is specialized in providing strategic management business planning, sales management and customer services consulting as well as developing and delivering capacity building training and coaching. He has a Master degree in Business Administration (Marketing) and is a certified local and international Export Marketing and Management consultant by the CBI and ILO’s Expand Your Business- EYB Program certified consultant and trainer in Strategic Management and Marketing since 2004.
Anna Maria Salameh – expert in export planning in export market research and analysis. She holds a Bachelor degree in Economics and is a certified Management Development Expert and Trade Advisor by the ITC/UNCTAD/WTO and an Export Marketing and Management Consultant trained by the Centre for the Promotion of Imports from Developing Countries (CBI) The Netherlands. She has over 12 years experience in international trade and enterprise development, and is specialized in strategic planning, market research and analysis, export marketing strategies and export plan development. She has comprehensive background in international trading system rules, bilateral trade agreements, trade policy analysis, and economic research and impact analysis.
