As part of int@j’s continuous efforts to ensure the growth of its member companies & thereof the growth of its sector through providing distinguished services that meet the needs of its members, and engaging them with potential business opportunities , int@j would like to announce a four days trade mission planned to Oman on 9th of January, 2011.

The purpose of this Trade Mission is:

• Promote exports of Jordanian ICT and ICTES sectors to Oman 

• Increase Omani businesses awareness of Jordan’s export potential in the ICT sector and interest in Jordanian ICT products and services 

• Give participating Jordanian companies a clear understanding of the Omani market and information about the doing business environment in Oman as well as market regulations related to specific IT products and services 

• Facilitate meetings with local companies in the specific ICT industry and one-on-one meetings with prospective customers and partners (e.g. agents,  joint venture partners, distributors or representatives)

• Facilitate meetings with relevant Omani Government representatives  

The following sectors will be of focus and will open interesting opportunities for ICT products and services and in particular for IT solutions: 

• Transport infrastructure

• Hospitality & Tourism 

• E-government                                                   

• Water, environmental management                 

• Health

• Education

• Contracting

Participation fees:

The original total cost for participating in the trade mission is 3,991.56 JOD per person. USAID Jordan Economic Development Program will subsidizes 48% from the above cost per person.

The final cost for participating in this trade mission is 2,048.82 JOD per person, including:

• Travel & Accommodation (1,624.4 JOD per person)

• Venue (for seminars and meetings)

• Transportation

• Market research
